Seymour Johnson Air Force Base commanders took time to recognize Airmen and their families by serving them a holiday feast at the Southern Eagle Dining Facility, Nov. 26, 2009. This service allowed base leaders to show appreciation for the Airmen required to work on Thanksgiving Day. They also served dinner to retirees and families of those serving on deployment or remote assignments. In preparation for the dinner, the dining facility staff cooked 10 turkeys, three hams, and a Steamship Round of Beef along with other holiday favorites.
