SEYMOUR JOHNSON AIR FORCE BASE, N.C. -- Expeditionary combat skills training prepares Airmen for what might happen during a deployment and how they should react. Training takes place under the watchful eye of qualified retired and active duty security forces Airmen. The basic weapon fighting learned in Basic Military Training is refreshed, as well as rules of engagement and the use of deadly force. Airmen are also taught the differences in cultures they may experience while deployed.
