SEYMOUR JOHNSON AIR FORCE BASE, N.C. --
The Seymour Johnson Youth Center sponsored a Worldwide Day of Play event in conjunction with the Airman and Family Readiness center's Yellow Ribbon event on Sept. 25, 2009. Yellow Ribbon events give spouses of deployed Airmen a chance to socialize and a break from the daily rigors of household chores. More than 130 families attended the event not only to give parents time to socialize, but also to allow children the opportunity to play and have some fun. Yellow Ribbon events are held quarterly with the next one scheduled this winter. For more information on Yellow Ribbon events, call the AFRC at 722-1123.
