Jack and the Beanstalk

SEYMOUR JOHNSON AIR FORCE BASE, N.C. --  The Missoula Children's Theatre is a non-profit organization that performs shows for communities throughout the United States. During the last two decades, the MCT tour has filled a morale-building need at U.S. military bases. The theatre group visits many Air Force bases around the world. The MCT mission statement is the development of lifeskills in children through participation in the performing arts. 

The directors auditioned youth for roles and rehearsed for a week to prepare for the "Jack and the Beanstalk" show here. Thirty-eight members of Team Seymour's youth participate in the show. For some of the children this was their first live performance, so they were nervous and excited at the same time. After the show began the youth performers became noticeably relaxed in front of an audience and parents appeared proud of them.
