Seymour Johnson AFB to participate in Operation Backpack Published Aug. 22, 2008 By Airman 1st Class Marissa Tucker 4th Fighter Wing Public Affairs SEYMOUR JOHNSON AIR FORCE BASE, N.C. -- The 4th Fighter Wing will participate in Operation Backpack, a school supply drive for Wayne County. Although school already started, there are always shortages of certain supplies such as pens, paper, notebooks, etc. Anyone wanting to donate money or school supplies can drop them off at the 4th Fighter Wing headquarters building to Capt. Julie Harrison, 4th Fighter Wing executive officer. The deadline for donations is Sept 30.
