The Air University - Associates to Bachelors Cooperative is a program that enables Airmen to continue their education online using credits from a Community College of the Air Force degree and putting them toward a bachelor's degree.

Enrollment for the program began June 15, and is available for all Air Force Specialty Codes.

All Active Duty, Reserve and Air National Guard enlisted personnel are eligible for the program.

Sign up is through the Air Force Virtual Education Center Web site. All the directions are on the AFVEC Web site under the AU - ABC links.

"The AU - ABC lists programs that correlate with your particular AFSC relevant CCAF degree," said Margaret Slade, team leader, base training and education services. "For example, if you received your CCAF degree in Weather, the options for a Bachelor's degree under the AU - ABC program do not list Weather, but degrees such as Business Administration, Computer Operations, and Criminal Justice."

All AU- ABC programs are distance learning and a degree plan is still required from the chosen school. This includes an evaluation of credit that the military member has already accomplished and showing what requirements are still needed for degree completion.
