An F-15E Strike Eagle, assigned to the 335th Fighter Squadron, gets airborne during exercise Green Flag at Nellis AFB, Nev., Tuesday. Green Flag is Air Combat Command's premier pre-deployment exercise for units who perform close-air support. The training exercise, which began April 19 and runs through May 4, mirrors many of the irregular warfare-conditions the F-15E Strike Eagle aircrews will see while fighting the Global War on Terror. During Green Flag, aircrews will try to learn better ways to employ airpower within an irregular warfare environment. The F-15E is from Seymor Johnson AFB, N.C. (U.S. Air Force photo/Master Sgt.
