The 4th Services Squadron is a complex and diverse organization with the intent to provide quality-of-life programs that will increase morale.

The two primary missions of the squadron are to provide home-station services and to deploy and fight our nation's wars.

The deployed operations of the squadron's activities are directly related to providing agile combat support to combatant commanders.

Services squadrons are warfighting organizations, and the proven principles of war are just as applicable to them as any other war-fighting unit.

Every warfighting unit brings with it certain unique capabilities. Services squadrons' deployed capabilities are the same as those at home station. Services Airmen provide feeding operations, billeting bed down, laundry services, mortuary affairs, fitness and recreational programs, retail sales and protocol across the full spectrum of military operations.

These capabilities generate both direct and indirect effects on the war-time mission. Services squadrons are the chief enabler of Airmen's combat capabilities and productivity by countering human-mission degradation factors of combat stress, family separation anxiety, depression, sleep deprivation, immune system deterioration and energy loss.

Services squadrons conduct the regeneration of the human combat weapon system through life-sustaining and healthy diversions ensuring Airmen are decompressed and singularly focused on combatant commanders' mission objectives.

Services squadrons enable our warriors to take the fight to the enemy by taking care of the total community - families, children, civilians, retirees and the most important weapon system the Air Force has, our Airmen.
