Visitor Center 101 Published May 6, 2014 4th Security Forces Squadron SEYMOUR JOHNSON AIR FORCE BASE, N.C. -- Summer is here, which means family members and friends will start to visit the base. Be prepared by knowing the requirements to get your loved ones on base before showing up to the Visitor Center.The Visitor Center hours of operation are: Monday-Friday: 7 a.m. -6 p.m.According to the 4th Security Forces Squadron, the requirements to gain a visitor's pass are:- A sponsor who is a Department of Defense cardholder- A sponsor who is a contractor with sponsor credentials (annotated on back of the card)- A valid driver's license or state ID- If the visitor is driving on the installation, they must have current driver's license, proof of insurance (hard copy) with inclusive dates and current vehicle registrationThe following circumstances require extended visitor passes:- Special events such as weddings, final flights, retirements, family reunions, funerals and tours (Special Event Passes consists of 10 or more people ONLY)- Contractor badges and extended visitor badges- Sports passes, (919) 722-0503- Access to Bellamorphis, (919) 722-0395Visitors who need extended passes:- Must fill out an Extended Visitors Request form provided by the Visitor Center in person- The form takes a minimum of 14 business days to process- Extended passes are granted by the 4th SFS commander on a case-by-case basisFor further information about gaining a visitor pass call (919) 722-1345
