Legal office releases recent UCMJ actions Published Oct. 7, 2014 4th Fighter Wing Legal Office SEYMOUR JOHNSON AIR FORCE BASE, N.C. -- The following Airmen recently received non-judicial punishment: An Airman Basic from the 4th Logistics Readiness Squadron received non-judicial punishment for drunk driving, a violation of Article 111 of the UCMJ. The Airman Basic received restriction to the limits of Seymour Johnson Air Force Base for 60 days and a reprimand. An Airman from the 4th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron received a discharge with an under honorable conditions (general) service characterization for misconduct: minor disciplinary infractions. An Airman First Class from the 4th Component Maintenance Squadron was discharged with an under honorable conditions (general) service characterization for misconduct: commission of a serious offense and minor disciplinary infractions. The Airman operated a motor vehicle while drunk. The Airman was apprehended by military authorities who administered a breath test, revealing an alcohol content of 0.14, well above the legal limit of 0.08. The Airman had also received one Article 15 for remaining absent from his place of duty at which he was required to be, three Letters of Reprimand, all for failing to report to duty on time, and three Letters of Counseling for twice failing to report to duty on time and once failing to go to a scheduled appointment at ADAPT. An Airman First Class from the 4th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron received non-judicial punishment for wrongfully consuming an alcoholic beverage while under the age of 21, a violation of Article 92 of the UCMJ. The Airman First Class received a reduction to the grade of Airman, suspended forfeitures of $200 pay per month for 2 months, and a reprimand. An Airman First Class from the 4th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron received non-judicial punishment for wrongfully consuming an alcoholic beverage while under the age of 21 and drunk driving, violations of Articles 92 and 111 of the UCMJ. The Airman First Class received a reduction to the grade of Airman, suspended forfeitures of $200 pay per month for 2 months, and a reprimand. An Airman First Class from the 4th Equipment Maintenance Squadron received non-judicial punishment for wrongfully using their Government Travel Card, a violation of Article 92 of the UCMJ. The Airman First Class received a reduction to the grade of Airman, suspended forfeiture of $858, and a reprimand. A Staff Sergeant from the 4th Equipment Maintenance Squadron received non-judicial punishment for unlawfully striking another Airman, a violation of Article 128 of the UCMJ. The Staff Sergeant received a reduction to the grade of Senior Airman and a reprimand. A Staff Sergeant from the 4th Comptroller Squadron received non-judicial punishment for dereliction in the performance of duty, a violation of Article 92 of the UCMJ. The Staff Sergeant received forfeitures of $600 pay per month for 2 months and a reprimand.
