"We want the service request process to be as simple and convenient as possible for all our residents," said Sharon Shores, Corvias Military Living program manager. "We encourage families to submit their requests in the most convenient way for them." Base housing residents may submit their work orders to the Corvias Community Office using one of the following accepted methods: · Main Office Phone: (919) 988-6920 · Maintenance Request Phone: (919) 998-6951 · E-mail: seymour.leasing@corvias.com · Fax: (919) 778-2928 · Website: airforce.corviasmilitaryliving.com · In-person at the Community Office: 268 Squier Avenue Goldsboro, NC 27534. The Community Office is open Monday through Saturday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The office will be open on Labor Day, Monday, Sept. 2, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. All maintenance requests are handled by the Corvias maintenance team, who wear Corvias uniforms. The maintenance team prioritizes work requests, according to the following system: · Emergency - Corvias provides 24-hour emergency maintenance response every day. Emergency service requests must be submitted in-person or by phone when the Community Office is open. After business hours, emergency work orders should be placed by phone. The response time for all emergency service requests will be within one hour. Some examples of maintenance emergencies include burst or frozen pipes, sewer back-up, or an electrical short. Residents should call 911 immediately in the event of any life-threatening emergency, such as fire, flood, or medical emergency. Once the resident has contacted 911, they are asked to call the Community Office as soon as it is safe to do so. · Urgent - Urgent work is required to correct a condition that could become an emergency. Some examples include an inoperable light fixture or a broken garbage disposal. Urgent work completion time is within five working days. · Routine -Routine work is needed for an inconvenience that does not pose a hazard or a potential hazard. This may include a broken drawer or loose towel bar. Routine work completion time is within 15 working days. In addition to these maintenance services, Corvias will provide a self-help option for those residents who prefer to complete minor repairs in their home. Families may visit the Community Office during business hours, where they can obtain necessary tools and other items. "We are happy to address our families' maintenance needs, no matter how large or small the service request may be," Shores said. "However, we will continue to provide them with the self-help option if they prefer to use that service instead."
