NDI digs between the lines

Airman 1st Class Damian Deloach, 4th Equipment Maintenance Squadron non-destructive inspection (NDI) specialist, wipes solution from an intake pipe of an F-15E Strike Eagle at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, N.C., Oct. 6, 2011. The solution is applied during the inspection process of an aircraft part to help cracks and deformities appear when placed under a black light. The NDI flight is responsible for detecting damages and irregularities that cannot be detected by the human eye on the equipment of more than 90 F-15E Strike Eagles and 12 KC-135 Stratotankers here.
