4th FW conducts fuel spill exercise

U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Rodger Kemp and Senior Airman Kyle Vega examine a fuel tank during a fuel spill exercise on Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, N.C., Feb. 23, 2012. During the fuel spill exerise, Airmen responded to a fuel tank that leaked 750,000 gallons of simulated JP-8 which spilled onto the ground and into water drains. Kemp and Vega are 4th Civil Engineer Squadron fire emergency services flight firefighters. Kemp hails from Chicago, and Vega is a native of Atlanta.
