9AF/CC visits SJ
Kathy Wells takes a ride in a parachute simulator while visiting the 4th Operations Support Squadron Life Support section at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, N.C., Jan. 13, 2012. Wells began her fall at 2,000 feet and had to glide her way to a specific spot on the ground. Staff Sgt. Justin Pishner, 4th OSS survival, evasion, resistance and escape specialist, assists Wells as she glides to the ground. Pilots and weapon systems officers receive annual training on the simulator. Wells is visiting Seymour Johnson AFB with her husband, Maj. Gen. Lawrence Wells, the 9th Air Force commander. (U.S. Air Force photo/Airman 1st Class Mariah Tolbert)
