Father-Daughter duo work to restore history

A photo on the wall shows Master Sgt. Marty Stanton's daughter Alicia removing the beauty rings from his 1976 Stingray Corvette at their home in Goldsboro, N.C., Jan. 5, 2012. Alicia, three years old at the time, had put on her mother's boots and asked her father if she could help him work on cars. Since then she helps her dad strip, prime, paint and repair cars and trucks. Stanton is a 4th Logistics Readiness Squadron vehicle management superintendent.
