4 MDG ensure children stay flu-free
Kellen Graham cringes as he receives a FluMist vaccine from Staff Sgt. Vanessa Dale at the Child Development Center at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, N.C., Nov. 17, 2011. The FluMist is the primary vaccine given to servicemembers and dependents between the ages of 2 and 49 with no chronic health issues. It is administered through the nasal cavity to help build antibodies to the flu virus. Kellen, 3, is the son of Maj. Nick Graham, 4th Operations Support Squadron air defense officer and Dale is a 4th Medical Support Squadron mental health technician from Newton, New Jersey.
