Airmen say bye bye to BDUs Nov. 1
Airmen will convert from the Battle Dress Uniform to the Airman Battle Uniform and will no longer be allowed to wear tan or desert colored boots, starting Nov. 1, 2011. The change stems from a uniform board decision made more than two years ago to provide the Airmen with a utility uniform appropriate for current overseas operations.
