Night or shine, we work around the clock
Airmen from the 4th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron (AMXS) walk from the end of the runway after inspecting a jet prior to takeoff on Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, N.C., Oct. 24, 2011. Crew chiefs of the 4 AMXS reviewed 40 F-15E Strike Eagles before flight in a single day. Aircraft require two inspections, one before the aircrew step off and second right before takeoff.
