Night or shine, we work around the clock
An F-15E Strike Eagle aircraft heads toward the end of the runway for takeoff on Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, N.C., Oct. 24, 2011. Before an aircraft can takeoff it must complete two inspections: one before the aircrew step off and a second right before takeoff. All U.S. Air Force F-15E Strike Eagle aircrews receive training from the 4th Training Squadron (TS) which activated on 1 November 1995 here. The 4 TS is the only F-15E pilot school in the Air Force.
