Exercise Orbit Comet
Senior Airman Andrew Hanus, Tech. Sgt. Randall Mello and Senior Airman Brandon Bible detain a suspect during a search of an unoccupied home on Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, N.C., Oct. 17, 2011, as part of exercise Orbit Comet. The goal of the exercise is to train and test civilian and Air Force response procedures for potential real-world terrorist threats. Hanus is a native of Cleveland, Mello is from New Bedford, Mass., and Bible calls Decatur, Ind., home. All are members of the 4th Security Forces Squadron Emergency Services Team.
