From the ground up
The bucket of an excavator digs up dirt during a visitor?s center project on Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, N.C., Oct. 4, 2011. Excavators are heavy construction equipment consisting of a boom, stick, bucket and cab on a rotating platform used to dig.
