Community stomps out domestic violence with Wife Appreciation Run
Master Sgt. Donald Huston prepares to take a walk in his wife’s “footsteps” during the Wife Appreciation Day 5K run/1K walk at Stoney Creek Park in Goldsboro, N.C., Sept. 24, 2011. Many Airmen from Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, N.C., and members of the local community participated in the run to raise money for a women’s shelter in Goldsboro and to raise awareness on domestic violence. October is nationally observed as Domestic Violence Awareness month. (U.S. Air Force photo by Senior Airman Marissa Tucker)
