Community stomps out domestic violence with Wife Appreciation Run
Several members of Seymour Johnson Air Force base, N.C., leadership participate in the Wife Appreciation Day 5K run/1K walk at Stoney Creek Park in Goldsboro, N.C., Sept. 24, 2011. The run was held to raise money for Wayne Uplift, a shelter for abused women and children in the Wayne County area. The family advocacy program on-base works directly with Goldsboro law enforcement, the local public school system and other agencies to provide awareness to the community on the dangers of domestic violence.
