Team Seymour celebrates Air Force's 64th birthday
Dr. Roy Heidicker, 4th Fighter Wing historian, gives a speech on Air Force heritage during a celebration of the Air Force’s 64th birthday at the Southern Eagle Dining Facility at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, N.C., Sept. 16, 2011. The event was hosted by the 4th Force Support Squadron and also included a video presentation, cake-cutting and trivia game where attendees won gift certificates. Currently, the Air Force is at its smallest active-duty force in its 64-year history, with 69 percent of the force directly supporting combat operations around the world.
