A ride of remembrance
Airmen and civilians begin a POW/MIA remembrance motorcycle ride from Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, N.C., to Bentonville Battlefields, Sept. 14, 2011. The Air Force Sergeants Association, Chapter 371, is hosting several events on base from Sept. 12-16 to honor Americans held as prisoner of war and to renew our nation?s commitment to account for U.S. personnel still missing from the nation?s past wars and conflicts. Events range from this motorcycle ride to a 24-hour remembrance run Sept. 15, which will lead into the National POW/MIA Recognition Day ceremony here Sept. 16.
