9/11 Ruck March to Remember
SEYMOUR JOHNSON AIR FORCE BASE, N.C. - Tech. Sgt. David Leebert, 4th Security Forces Squadron readiness NCOIC, carries the Defender Fortis guidon during the 9/11 Ruck March to Remember, Aug. 21, 2011. Once the security forces flag nears ground zero, a joint installation security forces team will march with it in on Sept. 11. The march began at Lackland Air Force Base, Texas and consists of 15 security forces squadrons covering 2,182 miles to ground zero in New York. Leebert hails from Sacramento, Calif.
