SEYMOUR JOHNSON AIR FORCE BASE, N.C. – Staff Sgt. Tim Smith directs the jammer driver to stop while loading an inert BDU-50 onto an F-15E Strike Eagle during a Phase II operational readiness exercise here July 20, 2011. Armament crews work in groups of three, the team chief or “one man” directs the other two what to do and when; the “two man” secures the munitions to the plane and the “three man” operates the jammer, a motorized cart used to carry munitions from the transport vehicle to the aircraft.
