Angels needed to help brighten children's Christmas

SEYMOUR JOHNSON AIR FORCE BASE, N.C. -- Col. Patrick Doherty and his wife, Dee Dee, select children to aid this Christmas from the Angel Tree located in the base exchange entrance. The Angel Tree Program allows members of the base community to aid fellow 4th Fighter Wing families who are struggling to make ends meet this holiday season. Those who want to help can select an angel from the tree which contains basic information about child including their age, sizes and Christmas wish list. Unwrapped gifts purchased for the Angel Tree program should have the angel taped to it and placed in the collection box located at the Base Exchange entrance by 4:30 p.m. Dec. 17. Colonel Doherty is the 4th Fighter Wing commander. (U.S. Air Force photo/Senior Airman Makenzie Lang)
