Don’t let your holidays go up in smoke
The remnants of a Christmas tree smolder during a demonstration on the dangers of failing to keep a fresh Christmas tree watered Dec. 3, 2010, at the Base Exchange. The 4th Civil Engineer Squadron’s Fire Services Flight held an informational demonstration highlighting Christmas tree safety to remind members of the Seymour Johnson community about the possible dangers associated with Christmas trees. Every year, fire departments around America respond to more than 200 structure fires started by Christmas decorations. (U.S. Air Force photo/ Senior Airman Marissa Tucker)
