F-15E jet tester saves time, money
SEYMOUR JOHNSON AIR FORCE BASE, N.C. -- Staff Sgt. Rory Pousson tests a front cockpit stick grip of an F-15E Strike Eagle while SrA Brian Currence operates the Automated Wiring Test System (AWTS). The AWTS equipment can accurately test up to 15,000 wires in less than five minutes, thus largely saving man hours and eliminating repetitive wire testing by hand. Sergeant Poussan and Airman Currence are both 4th Maintenance Group programming technicians. Sergeant Poussan hails from Jacksonville and SrA Currence hails from York, S.C.
