Airman of the Month
SEYMOUR JOHNSON AIR FORCE BASE, N.C. -- The October Airman of the Month is Airman 1st Class Khalil Giawashi a 4th Communications Squadron Radar maintainer. Airman Giawashi, who hails from Panama City, Fla., was looking for job security when he joined the Air Force a year and a half ago. As a radar maintainer, he ensures the base’s radar equipment is always functioning properly. Airman Giawashi’s favorite aspect of the job is learning something new every day. His most memorable Air Force experience was his graduation from technical school. When he is not working, Airman Giawashi enjoys camping, fishing and riding dirt bikes. (U.S. Air Force photo/Tech. Sgt. Tammie Moore)
