Military spouse, financial expert shares tips with SJ community
SEYMOUR JOHNSON AIR FORCE BASE, N.C. – Ellie Kay signs a copy of her book “Living Rich for Less” for Airman 1st Class Dane Gallardo after conducting two seminars on finance and military life Sept. 16, 2010. Despite being a financial advisor, Mrs. Kay had to overcome the burdens of mismanaged finances early on in her marriage to retired fighter pilot Bob Kay. Her and her husband paid off $40,000 in consumer debt, while supporting seven children on a single income. Airman Gallardo, 4th Comptroller Squadron customer service technician.
