Providing the right gear
SEYMOUR JOHNSON AIR FORCE BASE, N.C. -- Tech. Sgt. Will Adams sews new straps onto a G-suit here April 13, 2010. Every 120 days aircrew flight equipment technicians perform a complete inspection of each G-suit and replace worn or damaged items. The suit is designed to restrict the draining of blood away from the brain for aviators during periods of high acceleration. Sergeant Adams, 4th Operations Support Squadron aircrew flight equipment technician, hails from Pennsgrove, N.J. (U.S. Air Force photo/Airman 1st Class Gino Reyes)
