Bronze Star presentation
SEYMOUR JOHNSON AIR FORCE BASE, N.C. -- Col. Joseph Diana presents Lt. Col Neil Allen, with a Bronze Star Medal here April 12, 2010. A bronze star medal is the fourth highest combat award in the U.S. Armed Forces. The medal is presented only to servicemembers who perform acts of bravery, merit or meritorious service. Colonel Diana is the 4th Maintenance Group commander and Colonel Allen is the group's deputy commander. Allen is a native of Houston. (U.S. Air Force photo/Airman 1st Class Gino Reyes)
