Phase II Day 2
Airmen from mortuary affairs look over a convoy list at tent city on Base X during a Phase II operational readiness exercise, Dec. 8, 2009. A convoy list is an accountability log that tracks the movements of bodies of the deceased from pick up to final destination, including any stops en route. The exercise requires Airmen to wear chemical gear, conduct self-aid and buddy care, take cover during attacks, and offers realistic scenarios to enhance the flying skills of air crew from the 4th Fighter Wing.
