Combat camera takes to the skies over Afghanistan
BAGRAM AIRFIELD, Afghanistan -- Staff Sgt. Michael Keller (right), a combat camera Airman, gets assistance with putting on a G-Suit properly from Staff Sgt. Jonathan Rivera (left), an aircrew flight equipment journeyman, Nov. 25, 2009. A combat camera Airman is flying with the Fighters to visually tell their story. A G-Suit is worn by aviators to avoid black-outs by putting pressure on the lower body to keep the blood circulating during high levels of accelerated force. Sergeant Keller is deployed from Charleston Air Force Base, S.C., and hails from Clarkrange, Tenn. Sergeant Rivera, a Puerto Rico native, is deployed from Seymour Johnson AFB N.C.
