Retiree Appreciation Day recognizes those still serving, those who served
Retired Master Sgt. Ollie Oliver, Retiree Activities Office volunteer, is one of about 80 retired servicemembers who volunteer at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, N.C. Many retirees volunteer to help alleviate the burden of deployments at service oriented organizations across the base. The base RAO is hosting a recognition ceremony for Retiree Appreciation Day Sept. 19 starting at 9 a.m. until approximately 2 p.m. in Eagles Landing (the old Enlisted Club). The event will feature distinguished speakers, highlight the contributions of retiree volunteers and includes lunch. (U.S. Air Force photo by Tech. Sgt. Tammie Moore)
