Long-awaited medals presented to WWII vet
World War II veteran Tech Sgt. Holt Thornton speaks with Col. Mark Kelly, 4th Fighter Wing commander and Command Chief Master Sgt. Leroy Frink, after a medal presentation ceremony on Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, N.C., Aug. 29, 2009. Colonel Kelly presented Mr. Thornton with five medals for his service during WWII, including The Purple Heart and Air Medal.
