New 336th Fighter Squadron flagship unveiled
Friends, family, and fellow aviators show their support for the 336th Fighter Squadron ?Rocketeers? by gathering around the new squadron flagship on the flightline at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, N.C., July 24, 2009. The F-15E fighter will be sent to Afghanistan to replace the aircraft lost when Captains Mark R. McDowell and Thomas J. Gramith were killed July 17, 2009. They mark the first aircrew deaths since Maj William R. Watkins III and Capt Eric B. Das were lost during Operation Iraqi Freedom on April 7, 2003.
