Chemical Leak Exercise
Airman 1st Class Brandon Martin, 4th Civil Engineer Squadron explosive ordinance disposal specialist, removes a simulated leaking bomb that was dropped while being unloaded from a shipping crate during a training exercise at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, N.C., March 19, 2009. The leaking explosive was found near other explosives; therefore it had to be removed from the area before being detonated in order to avoid a sympathetic discharge.
