SEYMOUR JOHNSON AIR FORCE BASE, N.C. - Lieutenant Col. James Jinnette, 335th Fighter Squadron commander, flew four 1/2 year old Landry Waters in his Aeronca 7 Champion airplane during the Experimental Aircraft Association Young Eagles Day at the Goldsboro/Wayne County Municipal Airport May 24. More than 80 base youth participated in the day's activity. The EAA Young Eagles program was launched in 1992 to give interested young people an opportunity to go flying in a general aviation airplane. These flights are offered free of charge and are made possible through the EAA member volunteers. (U.S. Air Force photo by Staff Sgt. Les Waters)
