Goldsboro to recognize the Purple Hearts of Seymour Johnson
Three Seymour Johnson Airmen will be honored during a Purple Heart Banquet, Aug. 7, 2014 at The First Pentecostal Holiness Church in Goldsboro, N.C. The Purple Heart is awarded to service members for wounds or death as result of an act of any opposing armed force, as a result of an international terrorist attack or as a result of military operations while serving as part of a peacekeeping force.
