Prepare for lift off
Airmen from the 4th Equipment Maintenance Squadron help stabilize and lift an F-86 Sabre aircraft over the perimeter gate, Feb. 20, 2014, at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, N.C. The 4th Fighter Wing has a long-standing history with the Sabre, becoming the first group to fly the aircraft during the Korean War. Airmen from the 4th EMS will restore the aircraft, which belongs to the Goldsboro Police Department, during the next few months to fix structural and cosmetic flaws. Once completed, the aircraft will be returned to city for display. (U.S. Air Force photo by Airman 1st Class Brittain Crolley)
