Laying wreaths for those laid to rest
Event patrons gather at the end of a wreath-laying ceremony at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery, Goldsboro, N.C., Dec. 14, 2013. The ceremony closed with the playing of taps and the retiring of the colors by the Seymour Johnson Air Force Base Honor Guard. The event was part of the Wreaths Across America mission, which delivered more than 540,000 remembrance wreaths to 908 cemeteries across the country in honor of our nation’s veterans.
