Seymour Johnson AFB pays tribute to prisoners of war, missing in action
The Green Knights and the Guardian Brotherhood, both motorcycle groups who honor service members, first responders and members of the Department of Defense, escort the POW/MIA flag bearers prior to the POW/MIA Ceremony on Sept. 19, 2014, at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, North Carolina. The ceremony, held in conjunction with national POW/MIA Recognition Day, featured a missing-man formation flyover by four F-15E Strike Eagles assigned to the 4th Fighter Wing, a reading of the Code of Conduct, a special presentation of the colors and remarks by both Col. Mark Slocum, 4th FW commander, and retired Army colonel and Medal of Honor recipient Walter J. Marm. (U.S. Air Force photo/Airman 1st Class Aaron Jenne)
