Staff. Sgt. Johnmarth Perez, 4th Medical Support Squadron medical laboratory technician, draws a sample of blood from a patient Jan. 21, 2016, at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, North Carolina. Samples are collected and analyzed for many types of viruses.
