Painting Club exhibit inspires in Downtown Goldsboro

Heather Reynolds, Arts Council of Wayne County gallery director and wife of Airman 1st Class Maxwell Reynolds, 4th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron crew chief, works on a wooden art piece, Sept. 13, 2016, at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, North Carolina. Reynolds and other members of the club volunteered at the Carver Heights Hurricane Relief Shelter following Hurricane Matthew to instruct those taking refuge at the shelter how to paint the cauldron as a kind of “art therapy” session.
