Retired general recognized in alumni induction ceremony
The Distinguished Alumni Inductee Award was presented to retired Gen. Michael Hostage III Oct. 23, 2018, at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina. Prior to retiring, Hostage served as commander of Air Combat Command, located at Langley Air Force Base, Virginia, where he led 98,000 active duty and civilian personnel responsible for providing conventional and informational warfare forces to all unified commands to ensure air, space and information superiority for warfighters and national decision makers.
