Engineers install modular ejection seat components on an F-15E Strike Eagle at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, North Carolina, March 14, 2022. The ejection seat comes equipped with a parachute that is larger in diameter for better reliability when deployed. The Advanced Concept Ejection Seat 5 will replace the F-15E's older ACES II, which is used in many other aircraft in the U.S. Air Force’s arsonal.
