SJAFB pays tribute to mothers
“Being a mother to me is when you dedicate a significant amount of time and energy to the growth of another individual so they become a better person. As a mother of three and an active duty military spouse, I value my sons and their individual qualities,” said Sarah Nobriga, United Services Organization center operation supervisor. “I strive to support their interests in different ways, like going to craft stores, playing video games and taking them on as many outdoor adventures as possible.” As a tribute for Mother’s Day, Nobriga was interviewed at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, North Carolina, May 3, 2022. Nobriga started running the Seymour USO in August 2021, after it had been closed for an extended period of time due to COVID. Nobriga is a mother of three sons ranging in ages of 8, 10 and 12-years-old. (U.S. Air Force photo by Senior Airman Kylie Barrow)
